Minibus Taxis

Cape Town minibus taxis are usually battered mini buses often booming with music and shouting passenger touts. They drive like lunatics through main thoroughfares and pull out and stop without warning. Beware of them on the road. This is the main form of transport from the townships, but for safety reasons are best avoided by the Cape Town visitor.
