Table Mountain is magnificent. The ever changing mood of one of the worlds most famous landmarks forms a dramatic setting for players at Rondebosch Golf Club. Situated only ten minutes away from the city centre and Cape Town international airport with magnificent views of Table Mountain , Devils Peak and the Hottentots Holland mountain range.

Since its establishment in 1911 the Club has been welcoming visitors to the Cape and has built a solid tradition upheld by its strong membership community. Continued development and beautification has ensured that the course maintains its well renowned reputation for excellent all year round condition and playability.

Rondebosch Golf Club is a parkland 18 hole championship course measuring just on 6200 metres and whilst it provides a challenge to the serious golfer it remains user friendly for the less experienced. We have hosted 7 consecutive PGA Sunshine tour events, 2 Ladies European Professional tour events as well as the South African Ladies amateur open.

The river which winds its way through the course provides plenty of challenges to the players and is home to a variety of birdlife from cormorants and kingfishers to wild ducks and egrets.

The signature hole is the short 320m par 4 which winds along the banks of the river and demands accuracy from the tee with a tricky approach shot to a well bunkered undulating green.

Rondebosch Golf Club has excellent catering facilities to meet the high expectations of both members and visitors. Our facilities include secure, fully equipped locker rooms, practice range, hire of golf cars and carts, clubs and caddies as well as a full pro shop providing golfing necessities and memorabilia.

For tour groups we are able to organise competitions complete with breakfasts, refreshments, lunches and prizes.
