This museum which is a vehicle for education, information and dialogue narrates the story of the SA Jewish community from its early beginnings against the backdrop of South African history. Interactive and high-tech, it includes an exclusive documentary on Nelson Mandela, international exhibitions and cultural programmes and houses a reconstructed Lithuanian shtetl. The Discovery Centre provides online information on European origins and a search facility for family trees.
