The city of Cape Town stares out over the chilly Atlantic Ocean, where a dip in the water will leave you zinging like a mentholated mint. The water may be icy but the sand is hot and the beaches close to Cape Town are sizzling with beautiful bodies. The further south you go on the Atlantic side, the wilder it gets and the less people you encounter. Once you have rounded Cape Point, you enter False Bay which is where the Indian Ocean meets the Atlantic (now you know where the name Cape Point originates from...), where the water is decidedly warmer than the freezing waters of the Atlantic Ocean near the city centre of Cape Town.
