Find out just why Joel kicked that magical drop goal in 1995. Another display, which is sure to be popular to budding Springboks, shows the career path of Springbok stars from schoolboy, to club level, to provincial team and eventually to the Springboks. The display combines Coca-Cola Craven Week, every senior club in the country, the 14 provincial unions and the ultimate - wearing the Springbok jersey.
And then there are the rugby caps, rugby´s most cherished items of memorabilia and the symbol of the greatest achievement in rugby - playing for your country. Our priceless collection includes the most ancient in the country and over 100 years old, from South Africa´s first ever international way back in 1891. The South African rugby museum in Cape Town is open from 10:00 to 16:30 from Monday to Friday with special openings on some Newlands match days.
