The AFRICAN ART FACTORY is a dynamic partnership of highly skilled designers and craftspeople. These entrepreneurs/artists have located their studios in a "recycled" part of the Old City Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. By sharing services such as administration , marketing and product development , they are able to concentrate on the production and the important aspects of learning and implementing sound business principles .
While all the businesses retain their own identity and autonomy , designing and technical skills are spread and shared amongst the producers and management. Inspired by the rich and varied African culture, new and trendy products are developed. Their functionality and design is attracting recognition in the local and international market. Talent and skills give birth to a product which is proudly South African!
