Description
Discover with Cape Capers how the squalor and the deprivation of the townships of our previously disadvantaged community is being transformed with modern schools, clinics,electricity,clean water, liveable homes and sport facilities. Their struggle against apartheid and their efforts during these difficult years to liberate and uplift themselves through the establishment of street committees, community centers and informal trading initiatiuves like "spaza shops"and "shebeens". Get an idea of what is being done about HIV and AIDS through aids clinics,youth centers and counselling programs. Cape Capers visits three areas that affected so-called "non-whites", namely the Black, Indian and Coloured people. A portion of the tour fee is contributed to township projects.
