When you venture upstairs at Kennedys, you are met with cape towns best kept secret. A fine dining restaurant that has been in the top 100 restaurants of South Africa for the last four years.

With a Michelin star trained head chef, Steve van Graan a capetonian who has been working in Europe for the last thirteen years. Steve has put together a menu that is very diverse blending local South African produce with international flavours.

The service style we give at Kennedys is warm friendly and personal.

We strive to take fine dining into the new era where you are not uncomfortable in any way but feel like you are being waited on by a family friend.

Kennedy's cigar and jazz bar is one of, if not the oldest cigar bar in Cape Town and has stood the test of time. Being a leader in the South African market as a cigar bar and live jazz venue it has attracted the most discerning clientele. Live jazz is performed by the top jazz musicians in Cape Town as well as some international acts on a nightly basis. Open Monday to Saturday there is always something to watch as not only do we have a different bands performing every night but guest artists are always welcome and they cherish the opportunity to play on Kennedy's stage.

A new acquisition upstairs at Kennedys is a one of a kind in South Africa with our interactive piano bar. Come and sit around the piano and be waited on whilst you give requests or sing along with the pianist.

After dinner guests then have a choice of sitting with the relaxed crowd in the piano lounge or live jazz downstairs.
