Description

Mexican Kitchen is warm cosy cantinas serving traditional dishes and creating a good atmosphere in order for the customer to have a relaxing/fun evening at reasonable prices. The idea being that the staff control the vibe an the night and also are instrumental in creating it. The Décor is such that one could be forgiven for thinking that they are in downtown Mexicon City.

Mexican Kitchen in Cape Town has been in existence for 14 years and has grown from strength to strength bringing Mexican cuisine to the people of the city as well as many tourists and patrons from outside the city.

Mexican food can be addictive and patrons enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the cantinas.

The combination of tequila and latino music encourages dancing (customers push tables and chairs aside). This on its own is an important factor as not many restaurants offer dinner dancing. One of the big selling points is our buffet which is great for those in a hurry (movies, theater, etc) coupled with hiring the restaurant out for the night for parties.

Mexican Kitchen has its own factory based in Cape Town which produces the corn and flour products and these are supplied to the franchises at discounted prices.

Mexican Kitchen is not simply a restaurant but also operate as a retail outlet and also offer a range of exclusive cocktail products (for platters) as well as doing outside catering.
