Description

Three of Cape Town's leading art specialists have joined forces to establish a new gallery, the Michael Stevenson Contemporary, in the Green Point area of Cape Town. The gallery opened in a large, new, custom-designed space at Hill House in De Smidt Street (off Somerset Road) in Green Point, Cape Town in May 2003 and exhibits and represents leading South African artists. The gallery hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 and Saturday 10-1, or telephone us on +27 (0)21 421 2575 or fax +27 (0)21 421 2578. Michael Stevenson Contemporary offers solo exhibitions as well as curated shows of South African art that aim to challenge and engage the art community. The exhibitions are often accompanied by catalogues and publications such as those produced by Michael Stevenson Fine Art in recent years. To see a list of some of our forthcoming shows click here. Michael Stevenson is an art historian and a dealer in southern African art.
