Description
The Association For Visual Arts (AVA) based in Church Street in the heart of the city, is a dynamic, contemporary art gallery showcasing South African fine art in all media, from painting and sculpture through to photography and installation, through changing three weekly exhibitions. It is a membership-based association whose primary aim is the advancement of visual art and artists, regionally, nationally and internationally.
The oldest non-profit exhibition space in the Cape, AVA represents a varied spectrum of artists, both established and emerging. In addition to its regular promotional activities, AVA hosts cultural events, sources art for clients and consults on corporate art collections.
AVA ships art worldwide and accepts most credit cards. This ensures that tourists have easy access to the best of South African art at the most affordable prices.
